All about Pygmy Goats

Pygmy goats are adorable, fun-loving, and full of personality! These miniature goats, originally from West Africa, are compact and sturdy, standing just 16 to 23 inches tall and weighing between 50 to 85 pounds. With their short legs, stocky build, and a variety of beautiful coat colors—ranging from black and white to caramel and agouti—they are as charming as they are unique.

Known for their playful and affectionate nature, pygmy goats make wonderful pets and are perfect for small farms or homesteads. They thrive in different environments and don’t require as much space as larger goat breeds. Their curious and energetic personalities mean they love to climb, explore, and interact with their human companions, making them a joy to have around.

Beyond being lovable companions, pygmy goats also produce rich, creamy milk that’s perfect for making cheese and soap. With the right care—such as a nutritious diet, space to play, and regular hoof trimming—these delightful little goats can live happily for 12 to 15 years, bringing endless fun and affection to their owners.

We Love them!

We love pygmy goats because they are the perfect mix of playful, affectionate, and downright adorable! Their tiny size and big personalities make them irresistible, whether they’re bouncing around, climbing on anything they can find, or snuggling up for some attention. They have a way of making people smile with their goofy antics and curious nature. Plus, they’re intelligent, easy to care for, and great for families, farms, or anyone who loves animals. Whether as pets, companions, or even for their rich, creamy milk, pygmy goats bring endless joy and laughter to anyone lucky enough to have them!
